Abstract This paper presents thirteen square columns to study the behavior of nano-concrete-filled steel tubular with end plates after lateral impact. The failure modes subjected impact damage or not were compared. loading height, thickness, and column height set as test parameters in these tests. effects on ultimate capacity, initial stiffness, ductility are discussed this paper. bearing capacity is decreased because which can also be concluded from results. And tube thickness increasing, stiffness increased has no obvious change. However, increased. Furthermore, strain development under axial compressive results indicated that corner more easily damaged loading. According results, calculated formula proposed predict have a good agreement
